Friday, October 3

Time (MDT) Location Session
1–4 p.m. Weigle Hall Registration: Check in with the members from the Student Engagement team and pick up your registration materials when you arrive on campus.
4–5:30 p.m. Hunt House President’s Welcome Reception:Join President Walter Sterling, Dean Sarah Davis, and Assistant Dean David McDonald, and a selection of tutors for a welcome wine reception and hors d’ oeuvres at the president’s house.
Shuttles from campus will be provided to get families there and back. Pre-registration is required for president’s welcome reception.
5:30–7 p.m. Santa Fe Enjoy dinner in the dining hall with your student or explore the cuisine of Santa Fe.

Dining hall meals are $12 and your student can use their plan to cover their meal.
7–9 p.m. Meet Library Dean’s Lecture Series & Question Period: More info to come once we finalize the dean’s lecture series schedule.
 

Saturday, October 4

8–10 a.m. Weigle Hall Registration (cont.)
9 a.m.–10:45 p.m. St. John’s College Morning Experience: Experience the campus on a walking tour or join some students from our Outdoor Program (OP) for a hike. Please note that you should wear comfortable shoes for the morning experience.
Everyone will meet on the Grassy Knoll to split into our groups. Pre-registration is required for morning experience..
11 a.m.–12 p.m. ESL - Evan Science Lab Building SJC Science Lab Experience: Come to the Evans Science Laboratory building for previews, led by our student Laboratory Assistants, of some parts of each year’s hands-on laboratory work.
Pre-registration required for lab experience.
1–3 p.m. St. John’s College–Rooms as Assigned Student Led Guerilla Seminar: Experience a St. John’s college Seminar on a short, accessible, and meaningful reading. These seminars will be led by current St. John’s College students and will provide a glimpse into the heart of the St. John’s Program.
Pre-registration required for Student-Led Seminars.
3:30–4:15 p.m. Ault Evers Room–Meem Library Supporting Our Student’s Careers Panel: Learn about services and resources provided by the Office of Personal & Professional Development.
4:15–4:30 p.m. Ault Evers Room–Meem Library Closing RemarksThe Dean & Assistant Dean will deliver the closing remarks for Johnnie Family & Friends Weekend.
