Information for the 2025–26 Academic Year

Move Into the Residence Halls

Monday, August 18

  • First-year students: 8:30 a.m.–12 p.m.
  • Sophomores, juniors, seniors: 12–4 p.m.

Long Weekend–First Semester

Thursday, October 2, 9:30 p.m.–Monday, October 6, 7:30 p.m.

  • The Residence Halls will remain open.
  • The Dining Hall will remain open and provide regularly scheduled meals.

Thanksgiving Break

Tuesday, November 25, 6 p.m.–Monday, December 1, 9 a.m.

  • The Residence Halls will remain open.
  • The Dining Hall will be closed, and students will be responsible for feeding themselves. All students who remain on campus will be invited to Thanksgiving dinner at the President’s house on Thursday, November 27. The Dining Hall will reopen with dinner on Sunday, November 30.

Winter Break

Thursday, December 11, 9:30 p.m.–Monday, January 5, 9 a.m.

  • The Residence Halls will close at 12 p.m. on Saturday, December 13 and reopen at 12 p.m. on Saturday, January 3.
  • Students may remain in their Residence Halls over the break at the cost of $150 per week. Reservations and payment are weekly—no adjustment to the fee for partial weeks. More information and a registration form will be sent to students in November.
  • The Dining Hall and Coffee Shop will be closed. There will not be any food service on campus. Students who remain on campus will need to feed themselves.

Long Weekend-Second Semester

Thursday, January 29, 9:30 p.m.–Monday February 2, 7:30 p.m.

  • The Residence Halls will remain open.
  • The Dining Hall will remain open and provide regularly scheduled meals.

Spring Break

Thursday, February 26, 9:30 p.m.–Monday, March 16, 9 a.m.

  • The Residence Halls will close at 12 p.m. on Saturday, February 28 and reopen at 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 14.
  • Students may remain in their Residence Halls over the break at the cost of $150 per week. Reservations and payment are weekly-no adjustment to the fee for partial weeks. More information and a registration form will be sent to students in early February.
  • The Dining Hall and Coffee Shop will be closed. There will not be any food service on campus. Students who remain on campus will need to feed themselves.

Move Out of the Residence Halls

Friday, May 8–Sunday, May 10

  • Students must vacate the Residence Halls by 12 p.m. on Sunday, May 10.
  • Dining Hall service ends with dinner on Friday, May 8.
